Come alive through making.
Poatina is a remote highland village surrounded by the Great Western Tiers, 45 minutes from Launceston. In a converted aircraft hangar, Poatina Arts runs the only publicly accessible hot glass studio in the state, alongside studios for kiln and flame glass, silver, ceramics, sound and the performing arts. People come to make, to learn, and to take part in the life of the place.

Where we come from
A vision is born — to build an arts centre in Poatina, inspired by Pilchuck. Hundreds of people give to bring it to life.
The arts centre is built.
Poatina hosts the AusGlass national conference.
Poatina Arts becomes an independent association, through a planned transition from Fusion Australia Ltd.
